Version 1.3.5

App information

Version 1.3.5 combines match and tournament control, multi-device handoff, public live pages, evaluation, PDFs and Apple Watch live control in one consistent MatchControl ONE workflow.

MatchControl ONE is now available on the App Store.

Football today. Built for more sports tomorrow.

MatchControl ONE starts with football as the first complete sport profile. The app architecture already treats the sport as part of matches, teams, seasons, tournaments, formations, rules and history, creating a clean foundation for future sports such as handball and basketball.

Every match. Every team. One place.

What Version 1.3.5 brings to match day

⏱Live match controlLoad, kick off and control matches with halves, stoppage time, extra time, penalties and safe corrections.
🏆Matches, tournaments & seasonsIndividual matches, season management and multi-field tournaments with draws, groups, knockout stages, rest-time aware scheduling, configurable table rules and explicit tie decisions.
🏟Club library & squadsOne club entry with standard or custom age groups, parallel squads, club-level media and squad-specific venues.
🧩Lineups & formationsAge-appropriate 3v3 to 11v11 formations, saved lineups, players, benches and substitutions.
📊History & evaluationEvaluation by season, tournament, club, age group or player, including monthly counts and minute distributions.
📺Live Activity, widget & presentationSystem Live Activity, manually added widget and external stadium, TV and tournament views.
📄PDFs & automatic summaryMatch and tournament PDFs with shared settings, optional tournament tables, and link/QR code for already-published pages, plus a local rule-based match narrative.
☁️Fast private iCloud syncGranular sync of clubs, seasons, tournaments, planned matches and history. Shared game, tournament, PDF and public-link defaults are transferred only after Save; device-specific interface settings stay local.
🔐Controlled public linksPublish match and tournament pages deliberately and protect each link with no password, the reusable standard password or its own individual password.
⇄Multi-device control & safe handoffiCloud keeps the shared MatchControl data state available across your synchronized devices. Active matches and tournaments have explicit control ownership: another device can take over deliberately, while the previous controller becomes read-only. A live individual match continues with its current score and clock.
⌚Apple Watch live controlKeep time, score and phase on your wrist, control the match flow and record goals, cards and substitutions with player selection when enabled.

Performance and energy

  • Granular CloudKit records and dirty shards transfer only changed objects and collections.
  • Large history evaluations and player details load on demand in small batches.
  • Tournament planning and other heavy calculations run outside immediate UI updates.
  • Public pages use ETags, adaptive polling, local clock interpolation and service-worker caching.
  • No advertising, analytics SDKs or external web fonts.

The widget is added manually through the system widget gallery. Public links are created only after explicit activation in the app.
